Here’s A Toast to 2021!
2021 has been one helluva year for me and my family. I am pretty proud to look back on this year, knowing where we came from and how hard we worked and where it has brought us today.
2018 wasn’t the toughest year of my life but it was definitely one of the more challenging ones. A lot happened between then and now, which carried my husband and I through quite a bit of crazy adventures and memories we reminisce over.
There are some things that stand out among the rest right now, and that is how many people really tried their damndest to stand in our way, to hold us down, to sabotage our goals and prevent our accomplishments. We kept plowing forward in spite of those challenges, in spite of the negative people who wanted nothing more than to watch us fail. Nothing feels better than knowing we prevailed in spite of the negativity and bologna, knowing that negativity and bologna only made us stronger and work that much harder. It didn’t defeat us, it didn’t hold us back. We made a five year plan in 2019, and we managed to accomplish everything in that five year plan in less than three years 😱.
Some aid we wouldn’t make it. Some said we were crazy for trying. But the people who supported us, loved us, cheered us on and encouraged us far outnumbered any people standing in our way. You all know who you! You continue to love us from a a distance, love us unconditionally and continue to enrich our lives by being there, even if we don’t live really close anymore, we still feel you there and we look forward to the months ahead in this new year
